Shane McDermott, President of Mid-West GIS, Inc. attended the American Public Works Association’s International Public Works Congress. Mid-West GIS, Inc. is in the process of a national marketing campaign, with this being one of the first locations to showcase the firms GIS Services. The conference included all aspects of public works, including a few GIS vendors. Mid-West GIS, Inc. had a booth on display to demonstrate our abilities in GIS data conversion services in respect to Public Works. Kim Swisher and Alex Wieser of Mid-West GIS, Inc. recently attended the Illinois Emergency Management Agency conference in Springfield, Illinois. They were able to attend informational sessions concerning Emergency Management and how GIS & Mapping are used in different emergency situation. Mid-West GIS, Inc. also had a booth on display, showcasing professional mapping services to those in attendance.
