Mid-West GIS has been contracted to collect sign inventory data for Townships in Mercer County, Illinois. The data will be collected using GPS equipment, and incorporated into a geodatabase for use in the county GIS system. Reports will also be generated to be used for the Rural Sign Upgrade program in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Transportation, which replaces rural signs that are not up to standards.
